My Beautiful New Grandson

WHAT are you making Wednesday?................

Happy December Everyone!
It is hard to believe yet another month has been here and gone. Where does the time go? I firmly believe time goes by faster once you have children. Or at least you notice it's passing faster. Each tick of the clock is marked by their milestones. A birth, first tooth, first steps. Then one day you wake up, and they are off to kindergarten!

Kindergarten is quickly followed by grade school, middle school, then high school. You went from baby to adult in what seems like a moment. Almost two decades pass in what seems an instant. As another year quickly comes to an end, and another approaches, I hope you are surrounded by those you love. Whether wrapped in their arms, or just their memories, I hope joy, hope and love find us all.

Well, enough mushy stuff! Here are some charms I made for the Marie Antoinette Mail Art group. As always, thank you for stopping by to visit me!!

From my home and heart to yours,

  1. I agree time seems to fly! I am glad it is December but am not liking the cold that comes with it! Only 24 more days until Christmas.

  2. Yes and than its university and they come home with a boy- or a girlfriend... and two seconds later you wake up as a grandmother...
    Beautiful charms!

  3. Sweet things you have made once again dear lady.....

  4. Lovely charms! It has been a quick ride from motherhood to grandmotherhood!

  10. It feels like Christmas is just a few days away!

I'm making a glittery garland. I'll post photos when its done. ;)

  11. Jody, I love the mushy stuff! You are too right it goes by so quickly. More reason to realize that and treasure every moment. I can't wait to see your charms in person. Hugs! Holly

I totally agree with you, that after one has children life FLIES by! My youngest just started Kindergarten this year AND lost her first two teeth this past week. Seems like just yesterday she was still in my belly!

  13. Honey I am going to try one more time to leave you a Happy New Year message. lol
For some reason your site does not like me. I hate that because I love visiting you.
Yes time goes by so fast that it is unreal to me at times. Just looking at my grandbabies and how they have gotten so tall at Christmas really blew my mind.
Miss you and now I must catch up while I am lucky enough to have your site open for me
