What Are You Making Wednesday?

I was on a bit of a Scottie dog kick! They are so cute. This pin is similar to the one I wrapped in the cellophane and topped with a vintage black button. I hope you all are staying cool!

  2. I am working on a skirt that one of my students is making. She is learning to sew (we have sewing lessons once a week, piano once a month - she and 3 of her sisters) and has already had to take the flounce off her skirt 2 times, so I told her I would do it this time and then I would finish it off for her as she is getting very upset over this skirt. She has learned pretty well, we make stuff not to come out. I also am making a skirt for her 5 year old sister. Sarah (the 5 year old) has learned how to baste and pin, but when she saw how long the seams were that she had to do, she gave me the, I am not sure about this look, so I am left to finish it. I will give her some ornaments to do for the next project. Less stress on a 5 year old!

  10. Dear Jody, A surprise package just came my way today! I couldn't imagine who I knew named Jody. After nearly fainting at the contents, I still couldn't put a "face" to who would do such a kind thing. Here I am clicked on to your blog and squealing with delight. It is the jewelry blog that I love!!!! Scrolling backwards I saw the post about the little flamingo and how touched I was by your memory. Jody, your life is not your own at the moment; and my thoughts are with you. I can tell by your generosity that you will flourish again, an even stronger woman and mother. Truly I am touched, and I am so glad to know of you! Elizabeth This surprise box I have to share on my blog!
